hate to admit it. but i think im emotionally weak.
and when i say weak, i really mean like very very weak.
like !!! tell me! who would get all upset just because of one emotional song.
ME. hah. and it seems that it's ME and ME ONLY.
wow? i really should learn to be stronger.
though some people might not like it, BUT I THINK ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE IS COOL! the way geog and science are linked together is so cool.
hmm. i might reconsider taking geog during sec 3.
today we went to some stream at venus drive to collect raw data and study the water life there. oh. and the water there is soooooooooo crystal clear. YAH RIGHT. there was even some pollution there LAH! wth!
so we went to our allocated site there and started off with the geog componet. since we had NO OLD SHOES TO WALK IN THE STREAM, yinci and melissa volunteered to walk in the stream in their very own SCHOOL SHOES.
wow? how i love my teammates. they're oh-so-wei3 da4.
then at first both of them were like :
"omg! there's water in my shoes!" duh. of course right.
"eww! so squishy!"
"yuck! mud mud mud!"
"omg omg! what's that thing in my shoe!!!!!"
"help me!!!"
super funny lah! then me and ling ying were laughin like mad on the bank. then sandy tan came by and asked us to shut up cause we werent supposed to disturb the wild life there.
then we were throwing stuff over the stream to measure the wetted perimeter, the depth, the channel width, and the velocity. which proved to be more difficult then we thought. cause it meant going into the water. HOW'S THAT. and seriously, you dont want to know what's in the water. it's BROWN. ok what do you expect.
but our two beloved melissa and yingci!!!! so wei3 da4! did all the going into the water and stuff! yay! dont we love them!
then came the science component. we WERE SUPPOSED TO CATCH FISHES! and some other marine life animals BUT HOW'S THAT! yay we were given nets but still! we had to go into the water! so ling ying decided to borrow huiming's shoes since HUIMING WAS IN THE WATER BAREFOOTED (when there' plants and grasses and glass maybe?) to go into the water.
then MISS LYE! SHE SO CUTE! she kept coming to see what we caught then she say stuff like: "ooh! you caught a dragonfly nymph! good! excellent! wonderful! marvellous!" when they all mean the same thing! haha!
oh. then we saw a frog. and YINGCI WAS SCARED OF FROGS! so melissa and yingci were like this:
ling ying: "there! the frog is there!"
y: "where!!!!"
s (me) : "behind you! there!"
y: "AHHHHH! WHERE!"
m: "there! yingci! catch it!!!"
y: "dont want! i scared of frogs!!!"
-miss lye comes after hearing our shouts-
s: "miss lye! got frog!!"
ml: "where! catch it!"
l: "yingci catch it!"
y: "i scare leh!"
-melissa walks up to the frog and tries to catch it. the frog jumps away.-
y: "ahhh! it's after me!!!"
m: "where is it!"
-attempts to catch it and catches it.-
m: "I CAUGHT IT! "
y: "GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!!"
m: "yingci!!!! help me get the frog into the container!"
ml: "careful! afterwards it jump out!"
-then i dunno what happened cause i went to our bags to take my notepad and record our findings and i just heard alot of screaming and shouting and erm ya. and then afterwards somehow melissa manage to put it in a bottle of waterand the frog was DROWNING IN SIDE!-
ml: "PUT A STONE INSIDE ! so that it can breathe!
-but obviously the stone that they put in was too small cause there was too much water. so yingci deicided to open up the container and pour some water out. and guess what. THE FROG JUMPED OUT.-
y: "AHHH! THE FROG!!!!!
m: "AHHH!"
i tell you! the scene was super comical! like cartoon like that!!!!!! ZOMG. SUPER FUNNY CAN! me and ling ying laugh until cannot talk after that lah! HAHA
then in the end the whole river of our section was polluted by us. SO MEAN RIGHT. then got alot of schools pass by and say: " WHY NANYANG GIRLS COME HERE AND POLLUTE THE WATER ARH!" zomg. malu.
we saw pond skaters, half beak, tadpoles, snails, frogs, fishes, and DRAGONFLY NYMPH. the dragonfly nymph is so cute!!!!! then sandy tan managed to find a whole cluster of frog eggs!!!!!!! very nice lah!
after catching all the stuff, ling ying, melissa, huiming, and the other 208 girl whom i forgot her name were washing their feet and shoes in the water. SUPER FUNNY CAN. they "accidentally" splash water on each other arh! haha! then geogina and yingci were standing on the other side of the stream "ADMIRING" the bushes. WOW?
I TELL YOU! LING YING'S LAUGHTER IS INFECTIOUS. she will LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH then SNORT.
like HAHAHAHA! she so funny!!!!
ok then we released everything back to nature. lalala. then we went back to school.
but the highlight of today was:
THIS MORNING'S COPACABANA!
i think our band very zai3!!!!! 3 horns, 3 trumpets, 1 piccolo, 1 flute, 2 clarinets, 4 percussionists, and the whole trombone section.
i think the horns very cute!!!! haha!!! and the trombones! ZAI3 PEOPLE. haha! and christal!!!! zomg she really put off a good show with all the drumset stuff! haha! i think we rawked the whole school this morning man! BAND ROCK ON! haha!
AND MELISSA'S SPEECH! waLIAO! so lame can! got rubber band, rock band and now CONCERT BAND! think we very lame can! haha! then before assembly me and jasmine were like sitting infront of the podium and doing the horns dance!!!!! SUPER AA. haha!
yay! i love band! we're going to rawk the whole VCH on 25th july at 7p.m. man. starting off with a blast!
